Zentraveler asks are we really Martians?

Martian

Martian

It is possible we have been sent the identical DNA of the Martian race trillions of years ago and yes we may be related to the Martians as long lost cousins.  How’s that for a family tree!  Rocks flying toward earth with human DNA in bedded from the mother planet Mars.  With  NASA recent discoveries and all of the scientific evidence challenging that there was once life on mars and still is a possibility of real life.  The Mars Life Theory is certainly heating up again after being shelved for many years. All of the new scientific evidence and new discoveries have the scientific community and people racing to the planet Mars.

You can go on television and win a ticket to go on Mars on a new high-tech space ship or you can launch your own rocket from the internet and get there digitally!  The race is on… so buckle up buckeraroos and maybe you will be a part of history yourself. Beam me up Scotty!

Where did life come from?

The reason has to do with the origins of life itself–or at least the origin of Earth’s extant life forms, and all of the extinct forma that have ever lived here. Fossil evidence shows that this planet has hosted life for more than 3.5 billion years. Chemical evidence suggests possible life going back a little further, 3.8 billion years ago. Corresponding to the beginning of what’s called the Archaean Eon, 3.8 billion years ago is when Earth’s crust started to form; prior to that, the planet is thought to have been too hot for any life to survive. This means that during the Archaean Eon, life either originated from non-living chemical systems or arrived here after traveling through space from somewhere else. Known as the transpermia  hypothesis, the prospect of life coming to Earth from somewhere else does not attempt to explain the chemistry leading from nonliving to living molecules. Instead, it simply pushes the origin of Earth life to a different location, or locations.

There is a strong rationale for transpermia in that life forms can travel and survive in space, particularly inside rocks known as meteoroids, which come from other celestial bodies and strike Earth frequently. Moreover, since Earth is the biggest of the Solar System’s “rocky planets”–Earth, Mars, Venus, and Mercury–it took the longest to cool down after forming just over 4.5 billion years ago. Because Mars, and probably also Venus, were much more Earthlike billions of years ago than they are today, Mars would have been hospitable to single celled life forms for a few hundred million years or so while Earth was still an oven.

Each year, well over a ton of rock material and dust originating on Mars lands on Earth. Martian rock is catapulted into space when the planet is impacted by comets, asteroids or celestial bodies pulled in by gravity. While Mars has enough gravity to be impacted constantly, the material launched into space moves with such velocity that it can escape the planet’s gravity. Some of the material eventually makes its way to Earth because Earth’s gravity is even stronger than that of Mars and the distance really isn’t that great. While usually the rocks float around for thousands or millions of years, occasionally rocks make the trip within one to three years.

If Earth life came from somewhere else, Mars is the best candidate. So the next time you look in the mirror of our parallel universe don’t be surprised if you see you and ET side by side.  That would be a good selfie for sure.

So there you have it …maybe you not exactly a kissing cousin to the Martians, however new DNA evidence will scientifically prove you are definitely related in the gene pool. If you don’t have brain freeze or bored to tears look for Matt Damon’s incredible new movie “The Martian” to be released in November 2015.

QUOTE:” Studying whether there’s life on Mars or studying how the the universe began, there’s something magical about pushing back the frontiers of knowledge. That’s something that is almost part of being human, and I’m certain that will continue.—Sally Ride

THINGS YOU MAY NOT KNOW: The search for life continues on Mars with the missions to explore the surface and whatever is below it. One day, humans will walk on the planet. When humans do visit Mars, they will be expected to survive on the planet for about three years. They will have to wait for Earth to be in the correct position to return home. In these three years, they will have to learn to adapt to the hostile conditions on Mars and will have a longer period of time in space to discover the secrets of another planet. What may be more of a challenge is whether a bunch of human beings can live with each other for such a length of time with no means of escape.

THINGS YOU MAY WANT TO SAVE: Really good photos of Martian abductions, space ships and hip-hop dancing in the moonlight with martians.  Proof is in the pudding!

ZENTRAVELER SAYS:  It’s amazing what we don’t know!  What are you laughing at grasshopper you look rather Martian yourself…just saying.

From here to Infinity and Beyond is a relatively short ride! The next leg takes eons and eons as you fly through the Barycentric Dynamical Time Zone! …and on and on and on.
