Zentraveler on the miracle fruit Guavano!

Guavano Miracle Fruit

If you sit around and listen to old-timers who live in the Philippines you will soon discover the entire country is a living example of an outdoor pharmacy …JUST RIPE FOR THE PICKING.

Guavano or Guyabano is a tree called graviola in Brazil, guanabana in Spanish and has the uninspiring name “soursop” in English. A native of tropical America, Guavano was introduced into the Philippines at an early date and is now cultivated in all parts of the Archipelago.

Guavano is a green, soft spine, pear-shaped fruit with a sweet-sour flavor. The skin is thin and its flesh is a white, soft fibrous pulp which has a very agreeable flavor but rather sour. Its mature, green fruit is used as a vegetable and made into sweet meat, while the ripe fruit is eaten raw or for dessert.

The fruit is very large and the subacid sweet white pulp is eaten out of hand or more commonly, used to make fruit drinks. A lot of concoctions can be made into guayabano like delicious sherberts, ice drops and fruit drinks. An assortment of punch and cocktail drinks can be made by mixing the nectar with wine rum or cola drinks or buko (fresh coconut) juice and ice.

Known as the Cancer Cell Killing Fruit…According to a recent study Guavano is the fruit that has a function 10,000 times stronger than chemotherapy. This plant is a proven cancer remedy for cancers of all types. Besides being a cancer remedy, guavano is a broad spectrum antimicrobial agent for both bacterial and fungal infections, is effective against internal parasites and worms, lowers high blood pressure and is used for depression, stress and nervous disorders.

Research shows that with extracts from this miraculous tree it now may be possible to:
* Attack cancer safely and effectively with an all-natural therapy that does not cause extreme nausea, weight loss and hair loss
* Protect your immune system and avoid deadly infections
* Feel stronger and healthier throughout the course of the treatment
* Boost your energy and improve your outlook on life
* Effectively target and kill malignant cells in 12 types of cancer, including colon, breast, prostate, lung and pancreatic cancer..

Guavano helps control diabetes and helps protect the male prostrate. Its Lypocene content reduces the risk of cancer. The juice of the guavano leaves cures toothache, swollen gums and oral ulcers, heals wounds when applied externally, convulsions, epilepsy, bacterial infections and more.

A study at Purdue University recently found that leaves from the Guavano tree killed cancer cells among six human cell lines and were especially effective against prostate, pancreatic and lung cancers.

THINGS YOU MAY NOT KNOW: A study published in the Journal of Natural Products, following a recent study conducted at Catholic University of South Korea stated that one chemical in Guavano was found to selectively kill colon cancer cells at “10,000 times the potency of (the commonly used chemotherapy drug) Adriamycin.”

The most significant part of the report is that guavano was shown to selectively target the cancer cells, leaving healthy cells untouched. Unlike chemotherapy, which indiscriminately targets all actively reproducing cells (such as stomach and hair cells), causing the often devastating side effects of nausea and hair loss in cancer patients.

THINGS YOU MAY WANT TO SAVE: Guavano seeds! Plant your own drugstore.

ZENTRAVELER SAYS: Eat more Guavano …your body will love you for it!

Zentraveler on positive thoughts!

Create your own Positivity

We hear all of this stuff about positive thoughts from the moment we can comprehend our environment. Even our best educators try to work it in from time to time, but they are only hinting around the edges. So with no further adieu lets explore positive thoughts and see how we can keep these thoughts in our mainframe brains and eliminate negativity…. which makes up about 98 percent of the media and our daily life cycle.

Our thought patterns are developed by where we were born, what country we were born in, what teachers taught us, what our parents taught us, and all of our relationships with other human beings. The bad news is you can’t change if you were born poor in a war-torn nation, because that is a fact and has a great influence on your overall consciousness and thought patterns.

The good news is you can change from a destructive negative up-bringing to a bright productive person in our society by working very hard on your life’s goals and learning to work with positive people and positive thoughts.

Positive thinking is a mental attitude that admits into the mind thoughts, words and images that are conductive to growth, expansion and success. It is a mental attitude that expects good and favorable results. A positive mind anticipates happiness, joy, health and a successful outcome of every situation and action. Whatever the mind expects, it finds.

Not everyone accepts or believes in positive thinking. Some consider the subject as just nonsense, and others scoff at people who believe and accept it. Among the people who accept it, not many know how to use it effectively to get results. Yet, it seems that many are becoming attracted to this subject, as evidenced by the many books, lectures and courses about it. This is a subject that is gaining popularity.

It is quite common to hear people say: “Think positive!”, to someone who feels down and worried. Most people do not take these words seriously, as they do not know what they really mean, or do not consider them as useful and effective. How many people do you know, who stop to think what the power of positive thinking means?

I was one of them. I was so pessimist I use to see the world where everyone was out to get me. Everyone is the bad and the ugly. Without consciously knowing it one day I met someone who changed my whole life. In the beginning I didn’t feel the changes day after day. Is that me? It was something spontaneous. After a certain number of days I realized that the positive thoughts were having a great effect on me. It was definitely a breakthrough as the whole world looked bright and beautiful and you realized you could do anything you put your positive mind to. A burst of bright energy as if you had been hit with a bolt of lightning. You can’t stop thinking like this when you are surrounded by positive people and things. On the other hand once a person with a depressive negative character is in your presence you also tend to inherit their negativity.

Positive and negative thinking are both contagious. All of us affect, in one way or another, the people we meet. This happens instinctively and on a subconscious level, through thoughts and feelings transference and through body language. People sense our aura and are affected by our thoughts. Is it any wonder that we want to be around positive persons and shun negative ones? People are more disposed to help us if we are positive. They dislike and avoid anyone broadcasting negativity.

Negative thoughts, words and attitude bring up negative and unhappy moods and actions. When the mind is negative, poisons are released into the blood, which cause more unhappiness and negativity. This is the way to failure, frustration and disappointment. adapted from forum.tayyar.org

So there you have it! Is there any reason in the world not to adopt positive thought patterns and actually run as fast as you can from negative persons and thoughts.

You are what you Think

QUOTE: “For myself I am an optimist – it does not seem to be much use being anything else” — Winston Churchill

THINGS YOU MAY NOT KNOW: A lesson in life: Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of good or bad luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small tests, if they be events, illnesses or relationships, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere. If someone hurts you, betrays you , or breaks you heart, forgive them. For they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to who you open your heart to.

If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally, not only because they love you, but because they are teaching you to love and opening your heart and eyes to things you would have never seen or felt without them.

Make every day count. Appreciate every moment and take from it everything that you possibly can, for you may never be able to experience it again.

Talk to people you have never talked to before, and actually listen. Hold your head up because you have every right to. Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don’t believe in yourself, no one else will believe in you either.

You can make of your life anything you wish. Create your own life and then go out and live it. Quote from http://www.indianchild.com/thoughts_for_life.htm

THINGS YOU MAY WANT TO SAVE: Positive thoughts… which easily defeat negative thoughts once you make it a priority.

ZENTRAVLER SAYS: Lock in positive thoughts in your mainframe brain and eliminate all negativity. Its easy for you to say grasshopper, but to actually do it….is the real test.

THINGS YOU MAY NOT KNOW:We are losing Earth’s greatest biological treasures just as we are beginning to appreciate their true value. Rainforests once covered 14% of the earth’s land surface; now they cover a mere 6% and experts estimate that the last remaining rainforests could be consumed in less than 40 years. One and one-half acres of rainforest are lost every second with tragic consequences for both developing and industrial countries.

Rainforests are being destroyed because the value of rainforest land is perceived as only the value of its timber by short-sighted governments, multi-national logging companies, and land owners. Nearly half of the world’s species of plants, animals and microorganisms will be destroyed or severely threatened over the next quarter century due to rainforest deforestation. Experts estimates that we are losing 137 plant, animal and insect species every single day due to rainforest deforestation. That equates to 50,000 species a year. As the rainforest species disappear, so do many possible cures for life-threatening diseases. Currently, 121 prescription drugs sold worldwide come from plant-derived sources. While 25% of Western pharmaceuticals are derived from rainforest ingredients, less that 1% of these tropical trees and plants have been tested by scientists. Most rainforests are cleared by chain saws, bulldozers and fires for its timber value and then are followed by farming and ranching operations, even by world giants like Mitsubishi Corporation, Georgia Pacific, Texaco and Unocal.

THINGS YOU MAY WANT TO SAVE: Native trees…they are being sold and chopped down at an alarming rate. Stop! Do anything to help the cause… including volunteer re-forestation.

ZENTRAVELER SAYS: It’s all in zee travel… so get moving grasshopper or be a couch potato. If it’s up to you… it’s up to you!
